A tribute to "Madchesterโs" explosive 80s/90s music revolution, takes a traditional symbol of authority, the gavel, into a riot of sonic and visual history.
This hand-painted design immortalises the music forces that shaped not just a city, but an entire era and youth culture. Inspired by Factory Records and icons like Joy Division, New Order, The Fall, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, 808 State, Oasis, and the legendary nightclub The Haรงienda.
