A Feast for the Eyes (and Tastebuds!)
With The Great British Bake Off season back on our screens and autumn in full swing, the BMA team turned up the heat in the kitchen for our very own BMA Bake Off - and what a spectacular success it was!
The competition brought out the best of our bakers, with an incredible range of sweet and savoury creations on display. Entries included everything from lemon drizzle cake and banana bread to Oreo brownies, cookies, cupcakes, chorizo, cheese and caramelised onion sausage rolls, and even a stunning chocolate roulade that could have come straight from the Bake Off tent itself.
Our resident judges, Markus and Mat, had the enviable but difficult task of tasting each bake blind before crowning this year’s Star Baker – Chloe Sterry!
A True Team Effort
Staff from across the building showed incredible creativity, enthusiasm, and team spirit. Every bake reflected real effort and imagination - and those who didn’t don an apron were more than happy to sample the results, making sure not a single crumb went to waste!
It was a brilliant reminder of the creativity and camaraderie that make BMA such a special place to work.
A big thank you to everyone who took part, from our bakers and judges to those who came along to cheer (and taste). You made it a truly memorable event, full of warmth, fun, and plenty of cake!
