A Fantastic Two Days Connecting with the Clinical Engineering Community
British Medical Auctions was delighted to return to the EBME Expo 2026, where we spent two fantastic days meeting clinical engineering professionals, NHS Trusts and healthcare organisations from across the UK.
As Europe's leading medical equipment auction house, the event provided the perfect opportunity to showcase how BMA helps healthcare providers unlock the value of surplus medical equipment through our fully managed auction service. Throughout the exhibition, our team spoke with delegates about maximising asset recovery, supporting sustainability initiatives and returning valuable funds back into healthcare budgets.
Putting Reactions to the Test
Our stand certainly attracted plenty of attention thanks to our interactive "Snatch It" reaction challenge, inviting visitors to put their reflexes to the test for the chance to win a £300 Red Letter Day experience.
The competition quickly became one of the talking points of the exhibition, with delegates returning throughout both days determined to climb the leaderboard and beat the fastest reaction times. It was fantastic to see so many people getting involved while taking the opportunity to learn more about the services BMA provides.
Meaningful Conversations
Beyond the friendly competition, EBME Expo gave us the opportunity to have valuable conversations with biomedical engineers, procurement teams and NHS professionals about the growing importance of extracting maximum value from surplus medical equipment.
