BMA’s Warehouse Supervisor, Chris White, headed to Copenhagen this week to support the team at DAB as they look to maximise a number of exciting new medical auction opportunities.
Chris has worked with BMA for nearly ten years and brings with him a wealth of hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of medical equipment. Following a Medical Vertical meeting held at BMA HQ in December 2025, Chris was invited to the Danish capital to share his expertise and help unlock further potential within the region.
The Medical Vertical meeting brought together delegates from across the group, including colleagues from Troostwijk (Netherlands), PS (Sweden), HT (Germany), Auksjonen (Norway) and DAB (Denmark). One of the standout outcomes from the summit came when DAB’s Country Director, Carsten Rysgaard, and Operations Director, Jens Poulstrup Nielson, identified a regular seller with a warehouse full of surplus medical equipment that was not achieving its true market value or potential.
That’s where teamwork – and Chris – came in.
Working closely with DAB’s already highly qualified auctioneers, Chris’ role was to provide specialist guidance on medical equipment types and specifications, crucial listing requirements, and the data erasure standards that are particularly important within the medical sector. His input helped ensure the equipment was presented accurately, compliantly, and in a way that maximises buyer confidence and auction performance.
At BMA, we have a 10-year heritage in medical auctions, sourcing, collecting, listing and selling thousands of medical equipment lots every week. We are incredibly proud to share this expertise and are super excited to be working closely with our TBAuctions group colleagues to grow both market share and returns within the medical arena.
A huge thank you to the DAB team for the warm welcome – and to Chris for representing BMA and the Medical Vertical so brilliantly in Denmark.
